The Gospel That Won’t Be Explained

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming release of a book that carries the very heart of our mission at TWS Publishing.
Our founder, Robin Smit, is launching her newest work, The Very Good News: The Gospel of Jesus Christ, the week of July 21—and it’s unlike anything she’s written before.
This one didn’t come through careful outlines or theological exposition.
It came through Presence. Through listening. Through letting go of every system that once tried to contain the Gospel.

Robin writes:
“This book almost stayed hidden on my computer. Unfinished. Abandoned. For a year, I tried to write it the way I always have—teaching, explaining, breaking down Scripture verse by verse. But every time I tried, I kept hearing the Voice inside: ‘That’s not it. Don’t explain it. Breathe it. Exclaim it.’”
And that’s what this book is—an exclamation of the Gospel, not an explanation of it.
It’s a bold declaration of the finished work of Christ, written for those who are weary of striving, hungry for rest, and ready to awaken to the truth of their union with God.
Here’s what leaders are saying about The Very Good News:
“This is the Gospel you were made for. It sings, it shouts, it celebrates. And once you see it, you can never unsee it.”— Brian Simmons, The Passion Translation
“It doesn’t just explain the Gospel; it exclaims it with contagious passion.”— Steve McVey
“A bold, breathtaking declaration of the Gospel that refuses to be tamed by tradition or diluted by religion.”— Martijn van Tilborgh
“Her words pulse with Presence… calling us into the scandalous, breathtaking reality of union.”— Jason Clark, Rethinking God with Tacos
This book is the kind of message that refuses to be confined to a bookshelf. It breathes. It sings. It declares what has always been true:
You are already His
You are already whole.
You are already seated in heavenly places.
The Very Good News is not a call to earn or become. It’s an invitation to awaken and behold. We at TWS Publishing are honored to bring this release into the world. And we can’t wait for you to hold it in your hands.
We’ll share preorder details soon—but for now, we invite you to breathe deep, rest in what’s already yours, and get ready to behold the Gospel that refuses to be explained.
